Khalysa Hammith is The Windham Eagle student of the week.
This 7-year-old attends Windham Primary School and is in Joyce Whidden’s second
grade class.
Khalysa would like to go to college and be a dancer. Her
favorite subject is art.
“Khalysa is a conscientious, hardworking student who always
strives to do her best. She is respectful, caring and kind to her
classmates at all times,” said Whidden.
She lives with her mom and dad, her brother Rayshawn, who is
in kindergarten and her sister Kamesha who is in high school.
When Khalysa grows up she wants to be really smart and she
feels education is important because “that’s how you get into college,” she
said. And, if she’s not in school, she’s sick.
