Student of the week - Morgan Hammond

Morgan Hammond is ten years old and is a fourth grader in Mrs. Williamson’s class and she is The Windham Eagle student of the week. She lives with her dad, Andy, her mom, SuAnne, two brothers, Luke and Jakob, and her sister, Alex. In school, Morgan’s favorite subject is REACH math with Mrs. Breton because she enjoys the computation activities.

Mrs. Williamson said that, “Morgan is a well-rounded student that always displays the best qualities of the Three B’s in school. She is a charming girl that loves to learn. She is friendly and kind to her classmates. I am lucky to have Morgan in my classroom this year. She deserves student of the week because of her perseverance and hard-work.”

Morgan loves to play sports just like all of her siblings. Morgan is a member of Windham’s soccer, basketball and softball teams. Her favorite of the three is basketball because she thinks she is “pretty good and likes shooting the baskets.”

Morgan plays clarinet, piano, and she loves horseback riding. Her favorite food is candy and strawberries. For fun, Morgan likes to play with her neighbor, Addison. She would like to be a marine biologist when she grows. In order to reach that goal Morgan stays focused to do her very best in school and eventually graduate college.
