Student of the week - Faith Page

The Windham Eagle student of the week is Faith Page, a fifth grader in Tracey Butler’s class. The 11-year-old has some plans for college already, planning to swim competitively when she gets there.
Her family is her dad, Toby, her Grammy, Cheryl, and her Grampy Dennis. They have two Maltipoos Molly and Maggie.

“When I grow up I want to be a teacher and help kids learn. Education is important because I need to learn the things I need to know,” Faith said.

When she’s not in school, she likes to play basketball with her father.

“Faith Page has been nominated for Student of the Week at Manchester School by her team of fifth grade teachers because of her outstanding attitude and work ethic. She sets academic goals for herself and genuinely wants to know where she is in her learning. Faith is very motivated, positive, friendly, engaging and considerate. Recently, in a reading class she studied music and offered to bring in her viola to demonstrate various techniques and play a few songs. Through her daily interactions with others, she clearly shows respect for both peers and adults. We are so proud of Faith’s academic progress and her positive influence on Manchester School!”
