Sydney Brackett is The Windham Eagle student of the week.
Sydney is a fifth grader at Jordan-Small Middle School. She lives with her mom,
dad, sister, two guinea pigs and a dog.
“Sydney is a dedicated learner, a great friend, she is
honest and is always ready to learn. A quote from a friend
stated: ‘Sydney has always been my loyal friend and is always honest.’
Another friend stated: ‘She is very cheerful, smart, and a kind
friend. She deserves recognition!’ When asked, Sydney shared that
she loves animals, enjoys horseback riding, runs for the JSMS cross country
team, and enjoys her friends very much. She likes science and social
studies class,” said her teachers.
When Sydney grows up she would like to use her love of
science to become a veterinarian. She’s looking at her education as a way to
build the foundation for when she gets older.
“I like my school because you learn interesting new things,”
she said.
