Longtime Windham farm stand receives legislative sentiment

The Windham Legislative Delegation proudly presented a legislative sentiment to Florence Hawkes and family at their family gathering last Friday, to honor The Hawkes Family Farm Stand in Windham, on its closing after 84 years of serving the community.

The Hawkes family opened the farm stand in 1932, and it has been a roadside staple of the Lakes Region for three generations. Ancestors of the Hawkes family were among the founding families of Windham in the 1700s. We send our best wishes to the members of the Hawkes family on their future endeavors.
