Mia Dingwell, a first-grade student at Raymond Elementary School, is The Windham Eagle’s student of the week. The seven-year-old enjoys fishing, painting and working with craft projects.
“Mia is always a good friend,” her teacher Mrs. Wiley said. “She follows our I Care Rules and is kind to others. She works hard and is persistent when things are difficult and her classwork as well as her homework are always completed on time. Mia begins and ends each day with a smile.”
Dingwell said that studying numbers and learning something new is what makes education fun for her. Her goal is to go to college and become a veterinarian.
When asked who has meant the most to her education at this point, she stated; “My mom because she helps me with homework when I’m frustrated.”
