Storyteller and newly emerging theater group to perform a children’s tale at Raymond Hill Community Center

The Raymond Hill Community Center invites you to a production of “The Little Red Hen” at the Riverside Hall, 7 Raymond Hill Rd., Raymond, ME on Saturday, July 15 from 10:30 a.m. to11 a.m.

“The Little Red Hen” is an old folk tale, most likely of Russian origin and was written and illustrated by Margot Zemach. Although it is a book written for children, the performance will be enjoyed by all ages. The story will be told by Storyteller, Jody Fein and performed by the Long Tooth Troupe.

The Long Tooth Troupe is an emerging Raymond-based theater group. “We are just four creative old ladies looking for an outlet for this energy,” said Christina Keilt, the troupe’s director.  “As grandmothers we are hooked on wanting to make children happy so we're giving a go at mask making and play acting.”

Admission to the event is $3 for adults and $1 for children. The doors will open at 10 a.m. All proceeds will benefit the Raymond Hill Community Center. For more information contact Christina Raul at christina.raul@yahoo.com or call 655-7355.
