The Windham Eagle student of the week is 12-year-old Kaitlyn
Gedicks from Jordan-Small Middle School. This seventh-grader was chosen “for
being a powerful advocate for learning and growth mindset. For being a
compassionate and courageous friend and classmate. In addition to staying positive, working hard
and helping to cultivate a successful learning environment, she is viewed as an
exemplary leader by staff and her peers.
She is a fabulous embodiment and representative of the seventh grade
class and our school as a whole,” said the administration.
Gedicks favorite subject is social studies and she loves
“Lord of the Rings” and “Pirates of the Caribbean,” she said. She likes to play
basketball, soccer and lacrosse.
If
I wasn’t studying, I would be drawing and hanging out with friends.
