Jenny Cleaves is The Windham Eagle student of the week.
Cleaves is 16 years old and attends Windham Christian Academy in the 11th
grade. She plans to attend Suffolk University to major in design. She’d like to
be an interior designer.
Her favorite subject is English.
“Jenny
enthusiastically volunteered to be in charge of decorations for our recent open
house. These decorations needed to be both school and church friendly and she
did a wonderful job incorporating themes that were appropriate. She dove in with
a cheerful and positive attitude and always remembered to encourage her helpers
by praising their efforts. The decorations will be left up to bring color and
cheer to our hallways,” said high school teacher Sally Erde.
Cleaves feels education is important because “that’s how we
grow.” When not in school she’s shopping.
