On March 6, Raymond Village Library and Raymond Elementary School held a community Dr. Seuss Birthday Party. They have been partners for the last 13 years.
Theodor Seuss Geisel was an American writer and cartoonist. He was most widely known for
his children's books,
which he wrote and illustrated under the pseudonym Dr. Seuss.
Geisel published 46 children's books, often characterized
by imaginative characters and rhyme. His most-celebrated books include the
bestselling Green Eggs and Ham,

Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, The

Two hundred people, including over 100 children
participated in games and other activities including several crafting projects.
“Our teen volunteers were amazing and made the night a
great success. Teens have a very special gift for working with young
children.” Lisa, youth services assistant at the library commented.
After prizes were handed out, the night ended with a
bang! The exit hallways were lined with bubble wrap and everyone was invited to
