The Sebago Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce and businesses in the Windham Shopping Center kicked off the holiday spirit with cookies and a tree lighting last Friday night. There was a little chill in the air making it a perfect night for Aroma Joe’s coffee and hot chocolate for the attendees. Santa even made an appearance for photos.
Almost
every business in the shopping center supplied cookies from Bomb Diggity Café and
Bakery, who reopened for the event, down to Windham Jewelers. Many businesses
stayed open late to accommodate the merry makers.
“So
much fun at the Windham Shopping Plaza lighting the tree and celebrating
National Cookie Day! Special thanks to Santa for making so many kids happy and
hopeful, and all the businesses that participated,” said chamber executive
director Aimee Senatore.
