Curtis Arnold is a 15-year-old, who attends the REAL School,
which is part of RSU14 located on Mackworth Island in Falmouth, and he is The
Windham Eagle student of the week. In grade 10, Arnold plans to attend college to
study coding and become a game designer. He would also like to move to England
and get his own place.
Arnold lives with his parents, Catherine and Aaron and his
younger sister, Laura.
He enjoys reading, watching movies, playing video games, and
listening to music (dubstep). He is
currently learning how to play the guitar. His favorite subject is English and
he likes the TV show “Sons of Anarchy.” His favorite movie is “Monty Python and
the Holy Grail.”
“Curtis was selected for this award because of his unending
excitement for school. His energy is
contagious and he is a complete joy to be around. He has stepped it up in
every possible way at our school—academically and socially. Remarkably, in his first year at our school,
he has joined the Ropes Course Facilitator Program for students. He recently worked with the staff to create a
successful team building environment for several visiting groups, contributing
his positive energy and his insights,” said teacher Anne Sedlack.
Education is important because it will help me succeed in
life.
