Nine-year-old Hannah Heanssler is The Windham Eagle student
of the week. The fourth grader from Manchester School is in Deanna Blanchard’s
class. Hannah is the daughter of Nicole and Pete Heanssler and have a sister
Savannah and a brother Cole. She also has a dog Bailey.
“Hannah is such a helpful kid. I was absent to take care of
my own sick child, and Hannah was a great asset to the substitute that day. She
works hard and plays hard, but most importantly, she shows great excitement for
learning. Hannah can always be counted
on to help her classmates. She is truly
a generous spirit and a pleasure to have in class!” said Blanchard.
Hannah would like to one day be a teacher. She feels
education is important because “you get to learn things that will help you in
the future, but when she’s not in school, she’s “playing a lot with my
siblings. I love to be outside.” She likes the teachers at Manchester School.
