The
Windham Eagle student of the week is Sarah Hare, a sixth grader at Jordan-Small
Middle School. The 11-year-old loves art and gym class. Her hobbies include
softball, soccer, skiing, basketball, art, swimming, field hockey and camping.
When she grows up she would like to be a professional athlete, which is good
because when she is not in school she is playing sports.
“’She
is amazing,’ is just one of the nomination quotes written by peers of Sarah
Hare. And the Academic Enrichment
teachers agree! Sarah comes to class
always prepared and participates in all activities. She always chips in to help her classmates
and does it with a smile on her face. As
another peer stated, ‘She is a great friend.
She follows the rules!’ and we couldn’t agree more,” said the Academic
Enrichment Team at JSMS.
Sarah
believes education is important because “it helps with responsibilities,” she
said.
Sarah
lives with her mom Jaime, dad Lucas, brother Andrew and dog Tess.
