Students
in three second grade classes, Kelly Rich, Lori Gurney and Aggie Reichl’s
classes, created their own robots after reading “Pearl and Wagner – Two Good
Friends” about two friends creating a robot. Students were encouraged to create
their robots from recyclable materials. They were also asked to think about
what their robots could do for them and for their families and write an essay
about their robot projects. 
The
