Jayson Plummer is The Windham Eagle student of the week.
This 12-year-old attends Jordan-Small Middle School in the seventh grade. His
favorite subject is math.
He would like to be a professional soccer player when he
grows up. He loved to play sports, especially soccer, basketball and other
games.
“’He picks me up when I am
frustrated,’ commented one student about Jayson. This sentiment about Jayson seems to be held
by many. He deserves to be student of
the week because he is focused, kind and helpful to everyone around him. He is a team player who puts others before
himself. As one student said, ‘He is
always polite even when he is doing something he doesn’t really want to do.’
Jayson is a role model who reminds us all to keep a positive attitude,” said
the teachers at JSMS.
Jayson believes education is
important because “it helps you succeed in life, and it is one of the most
important things people need to know.” For this reason he also likes his
school. “I know it will help me in the future,” he said.
When he’s not in school, Jayson
is playing sports or helping his family. Jayson lives with his father Alan,
mother Denise and Tucker the dog.
