Edna Smith turns 90
Edna Smith, a longtime resident of
Windham, will celebrate her 90th birthday on September 16 and as
will many who are older, they don’t need birthday gifts. This year, her
daughters would like to ask for help with a special surprise for Edna.
"Please join us in celebrating the
September 16th birthday of Edna Smith, longtime resident of Windham and Eustis,
and longtime companion and partner of Arkie Rogers. Edna will be 90 years young
on her birthday! She worked many, many years as an assistant manager at Canal
Bank, later known as Key Bank here in the heart of Windham. We would love
her to receive “birthday wishes and notes” from as many folks as possible to
let her know she is remembered and loved. Edna is a very special lady who has
kindly touched the lives of many and we hope you will share in this memorable
