The 2nd annual Lake Region’s Got Talent features contestants eager to showcase their abilities on the stage at the Magic Lantern, 9 Depot Street in Bridgton, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on two consecutive Sundays. Following a series of auditions, some amazing acts from around the region were chosen to move on to the quarterfinals. Selected participants, including solo performing artists, as well a magician, band, and dance troupe, will perform before the judges and audience.
On January 11, come watch Bailey Nassa and Mackenzie Gifford--lyrical dance;
Kara Moxcey--song; Madison Martin--magic show; Abbie Vaughn--song; Dani Gordon
and Shawna Silke--duet; Sara Carlson and Mallory Strain--song with piano
accompaniment; Julia Distefano--song; and Christian Martin--guitar.
Performing on January 18 will be Morgan Lamontagne (vocals), Reed Bridge-Koenigsberg (percussion), Matthew Buchanan (guitar), Anthony Champoli (guitar) and Galen McLaughlin (bass)--band called It Doesn’t Matter; Mercedes Martin--song; Gracie Vaughn--song; Emilie Camous--song; Jenna Moxcey--violin; Quynh Nguyen and Carly Dyer--duet; Briley Graves--song; and Liza Collins-Schrader, Laura Taylor and Kristen Farwell--contemporary dance.

All are vying for the chance to win over a thousand dollars in cash and prizes. All shows are open to the public and tickets will be sold at the door. Ticket prices for the quarterfinals are the following: Ages 6 and up/$5; ages 5 and under/free. Audience members may also purchase 50/50 raffle tickets.
A Semi-Final performance will be held on January 25, and the final competition will occur on February 8. Judges and the audience will decide the final outcome.
