Tess's first medical
thriller, Harvest, was released in hardcover in 1996, and it marked her debut
on the New York Times bestseller list. Her books have been published in forty
countries, and more than 30 million copies have been sold around the world. She
has won multiple awards and critics around the world have praised her novels as
"Pulse-pounding fun", "Scary and brilliant" and
"Polished, riveting prose". Publisher Weekly has dubbed her the
"medical suspense queen". Now retired from medicine, she lives in
Maine and writes full time.
There will be
refreshments and special recorded music chosen by the author during the book
signing. A drawing of assorted, signed books by the author will be held that
evening. All proceeds benefit the library. Tickets to this event are $15 (cash
or check) and must be purchased prior to the evening, as space is very limited.
Pre-register by calling the Raymond Village Library at 655-4283 or emailing sally.holt@raymondvillagelibrary.org.
