The Windham Eagle student of the week is
Simon Gabaree from Windham Middle School. The 13-year-old is in seventh grade
and has Andrea Levinsky and Ryan Rumsey as teachers.
“Simon has shown great growth over the
course of the year. He works very hard and puts a lot of time into his studies.
He also consistently participates in class and has a great sense of humor!”
said his teachers.
“Learning is fun when the teacher gives
you time to practice on your own instead of being in the front of the class
always talking,” Simon said.
Simon plans to go to Stanford after high
school. He is successful in math and language arts. He likes soccer and
swimming. In his free time he said, “I enjoy being outside and playing soccer.”
Simon lives with his mom, dad, brother and
a dog.
